Can't recognize the "dwStart" parameter in AVI header file.

The function of AV playback in android BSP jb4.2.2_1.1.0 hasn't recognized the dwStart parameter in AVI header file.

Please tell a reason for not being supporting "dwStart".

And, does the function support in another BSP ver?

could you help check your issue as below? then tell me the result, thanks.

1)Check whether this issue is observed with PC media player, For example:
-  KMPlayer (http://www.kmplayer.com/)
-  VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)”

2)Check whether the same issue is observed in other Android benchmark device such as Nexus 7.

3)Check whether the issue exists when using Android Native player by running the below command on Freescale reference board.
- setprop media.omxgm.enable-player 0

Then run the test again.

4)Please check the media information with KMPlayer(menu to check the property of the video stream) and then check the multimedia release document to see if the video format is supported or not

Please check below step.

[Steps]

1. Get the .avi content.

 ex)  Download the "avi_h264_mp3.avi" from below link.

 http://www.gomplayer.jp/player/support/sample.html

2. Open the "avi_h264_mp3.avi" file by binary editor.

3. Search the "auds". The address is dwStart after 25 bytes from there.

    Modify the dwStart (4Bytes). Refer to below image.

    (Before) :  00 00 00 00

    (After) : FF 00 00 00

4. Play the content on SABRE-board with android jb4.2.2_1.1.0.

PS,

The modified .avi content was played successfuly with 6 sec delay by Windows Media Player(PC).

In latest BSP (android 6.0.1_2.1.0, KK4.4.2_1.0.0), the same issue was confirmed.
