Can't get the EDID from HDMI

If I connect hdmi cable into our board,sometimes I can't get EDID from HDMI

the message are as below:

       mxc_hdmi mxc_hdmi: No modes read from edid

       mxc_hdmi mxc_hdmi: create default modelist

when I plug HDMI cable to our board slowly,this situation is easier to appear

On the contrary,if I plug HDMI cable quickly,this situation is not easier to appear

And even if I can get EDID ,sometimes it will set wrong resloution.

cat /sys/class/graphics/fb0/mode

S:640x480p-60  <--wrong resloution

Please help to investigate this issue.

Hi charles

one can check with other monitor, use shorter

cable or check connectors. Ground of devices also

may be problem, connect their cases with wire.
