Can't find PMIC:PCA9450

Hello NXP,

Currently i'm working on i.MX8M Nano EVK Board but while booting it's showing error as :-

Can't find PMIC:PCA9450

DDRINFO: start DRAM init

DDRINFO: DRAM rate 3200MTS

Training FAILED

Could you please help me  ??

I'm not getting the point of the solution. I'm facing the same issue.
MACHINE=imx8mnevk DISTRO=fsl-xwayland,
bitbake core-image-base

Once I try to boot from the mSD card, I'm getting the same error.
Isn't the Yocto recipe supposed to support i.MX8m Nano EVK as such.

The SD card was written this way:
sudo dd if=tmp/deploy/images/imx8mnevk/core-image-base-imx8mnevk.wic of=/dev/sdd bs=1M conv=fsync

The earlier release worked fine, but once I tried to upgrade to kernel 5.4.24 because reported LDO bug in older one, the new BSP does not boot on target. Some of the images do not even bitbake properly. (Such as fsl-image-machine-test.) I'm confused.

i'm able to get booting logs from eMMC through both Tera Term and minicom but while booting from SD Card it's showing an error as :- "Can't find PMIC:PCA9450"

can you please provide any resulting solution  ??

are you sure that image is the same in eMMC and SD card ?

I didn't flash anything into eMMC. eMMC already contains it's own image while manufacturing the EVK.

I just flashed an image into SD Card. So images might be different in eMMC and SD Card.

probably it was wrongly programmed, one can try to reprogram it 

using latest Demo Image i.MX 8M Nano EVK

I have also tried to flash demo [ Pre-built ] image that you have shared now, but still showing same error. I'm not understanding what to do.

Now, what should be the right solution  ??

Ans :-  NO

I don't know what contains eMMC. but i'm sure that eMMC is having it's own image when i received my Nano Board and then i powerted up Nano board and got boot logs though eMMC. After that i have inserted SD Card into Board and try to get logs but showing that error.

I just flashed image [ imx-image-full ] on SD Card which i have compiled with the help of Yocto User's Guide.

I also tried to flash just U-boot image but still same error.

One of my colleague working on i.MX8M Mini EVK. He is able to get logs both through eMMC [ already present image ] and SD Card [ he has compiled ]. But logs from eMMC and SD Card both are different he said.

pmic in ddr script using example on below link and checking signals with oscilloscope:
