I am looking at RT1180 feature set. I understand this processor has 4 port TSN switch with 1 TSN end point.
I would like to use both TSN and standard Ethernet interface in my new design. Can i configure one of the four TSN ports to work as standard ethernet? Is it configurable? Please suggest.
Yes, it can be used as standard ethernet. As a TSN device would communicate with both TSN and standard ethernet. Also, TSN is an extension of standard ethernet, so I think it would work backwards.
