Can i use MCU bootloader for i.MX RT1172 controller ?

Hello Support Team,

We are working on i.MXRt1172 micro, and we wanted to use the MCU bootloader for flashing the Ext. Serial NAND Flash on custom board.

Can we use MCU bootloader which is available in below link ?

You can use the MCUBootUtility (https://github.com/JayHeng/NXP-MCUBootUtility) too for that

It is now available in \SDK_2.x.x_MIMXRT1170-EVK\boards\evkmimxrt1170\bootloader_examples\flashloader.

It can help to flash serial NAND.

Can i use blhost.exe which is present in Flashloader i.MX-RT1050 package to communicate with \SDK_2.x.x_MIMXRT1170-EVK\boards\evkmimxrt1170\bootloader_examples\flashloader ?

Thanks for the inputs.

As suggested i have imported the bootloader project MCUXpresso.

From the bootloader project description i have understood that we need to use some utility to communicate with bootloader via serial communication.

Can you please let me know the which utilities I need to use and where I can find them?
