Can i change the widgets or pictures with SD-Card in working project?

Hello everyone,

I want to create a LCD project with i.MX processors. But i am not sure for this. I want to change widgets or pictures for the project with SD-Card. For example, the user want to change background picture and the date location and change the gui guider output. After this, puts its output on the SD card. (tCustom Board supports SD card interface) Can Picture and Widget change in the working project?

I am talking about iMX RT1050 - 1060 - 1160 - 1170. But It's not about the processor. Does the gui guider image or widget output need to be compiled in the MCUXpresso IDE to run on the processor? Or is it enough to just show it as a source?
