Hi all,
I know i.MX25, i.MX35, i.MX51, and i.MX53 cannot boot from 4k byte page size SLC NAND.
Then, how about i.MX6 series (except SoloLite)?
Can i.MX6x boot from 4k byte (or larger) page size SLC NAND?
Best Regards,
Satoshi Shimoda

The i.MX6 supports the following boot devices :
"Raw NAND (MLC and SLC), and Toggle-mode NAND flash through GPMI-2
interface. Page sizes of 2 Kbyte, 4 Kbyte and 8 Kbyte. Bus widths of 8-bit..."

Dear Yuri,
Yes, i.MX6 reference manual explain i.MX6 support them.
However, i.MX25, 35, 51, and 53 could not boot from 4kB page size SLC NAND even though reference manual of each device say support it.
So I want to confirm whether all combination (SLC or MLC) && (2K byte, 4K byte, 8K byte) is no problem.
Could you confirm it?
Best Regards,
Satoshi Shimoda
