Can different devices connect to i.MX6 same I2S interface?

Hi community,

I have a question about i.MX6 audio connection.

I want to know whether i.MX6 can control if different devices (DAC & ADC) are connected to TX and RX of same I2S interface as attached image.

I think it is no-problem, right?

It should work, but at a time only one device should be active, due to clocking issue.

If both device are used as a slave mode and operates on same frequency than it should work together.
