Hi,

I have read the following two website.

Understanding how to burn eFuses on i.MX8 and i.MX8x families - i.MXDev Blog

Burning eFuses on i.MX6 and i.MX7 - i.MXDev Blog

I.MX8 have two ways to burn efuse.

1. Programing eFuses using U-Boot

2. Programing eFuses using UUU (Universal Update Utility)

However, I find that the imx linux has the fsl_otp driver.

It can help users to burn efuse in user space for I.MX6 and I.MX7.

Could we burn efuse in user space for I.MX8 family?

Just like I.MX6 and I.MX7 family.

Hello,

For MX8, for security reasons, all fuse writes should pass through u-boot

or directly through the scu.   No Linux user space support for burning.

Have a great day,
Yuri
