Can 128MB(bytes) serial NOR flash be interfaced with IMX6 solo

Hi  ,

I am working over the IMX6 solo , Can i interface 128MB(bytes) serial NOR Flash( SPI based) with the IMX6 solo.

As per the reference manual , BOOT_CFG4[3] Fuse , it maximum support 3 byte addressing (24-bit) .

Please advice.

Hi Aditya

if spi-nor supports addressing provided by BOOT_CFG4[3] Fuse,
one can boot from it, then use custom driver to use addressing protocol
supported by that nor to access full 128MB.
