Hi all,
i am trying to do calibration of the i.mx6 32bit bus DDR3 RAM with 2 Chip Select using the DDR Stress Test tool
My calibration always return failed if i tried to calibrate both CS together (select from the selection that prompt in the DDR Stress Test tool)
If i calibrate CS0 only, it will success.
I come across this article:
Re: 32bit bus width memory with 2 cs in IMX6Q
I tried to modified the MDMISC[CALIB_PER_CS] bit in the .inc file, but how do i confirm whether it's calibrating CS0 or CS1?
Is this method applicable with using the DDR Stress Test tool?
Thank you.
Regards,
Tee
Hello,
Please use the recent DDR stress tool i.MX6/7 DDR Stress Test Tool V2.40
For it : "You can select 0 for CS0 and ALL for both CS0 and CS1. There is no CS1 option."
Also, from section 5 )Calibration and Chip Selects) of app note AN4467 (i.MX 6 Series
DDR Calibration ) : "Should both chip selects be populated, it is an absolute must that the
memories populated on CSD1 are “mirrored” with the memories populated on CSD0, as both
CSD share the same delay line register set during normal DDR operation"

Have a great day,
Yuri
