Calculating u-boot boot time for i.mx8qxp MEK

Hello Team,

I want to calculate the boot time taken by u-boot for i.mx8qxp MEK board, can you please help me out how I can calculate the boot time taken by u-boot to boot, before loading the kernel.

I tried to calculate it by using "grabserial" tool but I am not able to achieve it, can you please help me out How I can calculate the boot-time taken bu U-Boot?

I did not find any helpful information about "calculating the boot time for u-boot" in above references, can you please point out me to any tool or procedure to calculate time taken by u-boot to boot?.

Hi Kailas

one can add codes for toggling some gpio in various places

of scfw and uboot, then check that gpio and measure time with oscillocope .
