Hi Shivashankar

reason may be that FlexCAN resources belong to M4 partition and one can try to

assign them to  A core partition using below link, sect."Modifying default configuration"

https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors-Knowledge-Base/System-Controller-Firmware-101-Resource-...

SCFW porting kit can be found on link

https://www.nxp.com/design/software/embedded-software/i-mx-software/embedded-linux-for-i-mx-applicat...

Another alternative (if M4 is not needed) -  use a flash.bin without M4 firmware (

smth. like imx-boot-imx8qxpmek-sd.bin-flash)

Best regards
igor

Hi Igor I tried with no luck.

If I use imx-boot-imx8qxpmek-sd.bin-flash U Boot doesn't boot at all, instead if I use imx-boot-imx8qxpc0mek-sd.bin-flash U Boot boots and kernel is loaded but Can doesn't work.

Two questions

What does C0 in imx-boot-imx8qxpc0mek-sd.bin-flash mean and its significance?

I am using prebuilt images from L5.10.35_2.0.0_MX8QXPC0 should I use prebuild images from a different version?

My Configuration as below:

U-Boot 2021.04-5.10.35-2.0.0+g3463140881 (Jun 08 2021 - 01:39:44 +0000)

CPU: NXP i.MX8QXP RevC A35 at 1200 MHz at 29C

Model: NXP i.MX8QXP MEK

Board: iMX8QXP MEK
