Hi,

I am trying to bring up a imx8qx based board using JTAG. Can you please point me in the right direction so as to where to get started?

How can I use it to flash firmware for cortex M4/ cortex A35?

Any support will be deeply appreciated.

Hello,

You may refer to this 2 app notes, those will help you on getting started with your custom board (creating and customizing images) and download/debug using JTAG in normal and secure mode.

Best regards,
Aldo.

Hi Aldo,

I have one more question regarding this. On reading the application note(AN12631), I saw that we need to connect the Lauterbach hardware to the board. I have a SEGGER JLink EDU with me. Will it be possible to use that?

Hello,

It may be possible, but please note that unfortunately we do not have documents or guides to do this.

Best regards,
Aldo.
