Booting U-Boot from USB i.MX8MQ EVK

Hi all,

I'm using i.MX8MQ EVK. I want to boot the board from USB storage, includes U-Boot, kernel, device-tree and rootfs (not USB download protocol). It means Boot ROM chooses USB storage as boot device. The question: is this possible to do that? If yes, how can I do?

Anyone has experience about booting from USB, please share with me. Thanks.

Hi,

Boot up from USB storage is not supported, you can try to download the u-boot to norflash and the kernel and filesystem on you usb storage.
