Bayer to YUV support in IPU

Hello Team,

For our FullHD streaming product, we are planning to design the iMX6 Dual based board with the Camera sensor with Bayer RAW 8 bits or 10 bits data format. So, we need to convert this RAW data to YUV to proceed for the encoding and then streaming. We would like to know whether iMX6 IPU hardware module supports RAW to YUV conversion or not. In the forum I see multiple information but I could not get the clear answer for this.

Quick straight forward answer about this hardware capability is very critical because based on this we need to decide the sensor to be used in our product.

supported YUV <-> RGB, YUV<->YUV conversions as mentioned

in sect.37.1.2.1.5.3 Image Converter (IC) i.MX6DQ RM (rev.3  7/2015),

RAW to YUV conversion is not supported by IPU.
