Batteries are currently on backorder with anticipated availability in Q4, 2011. Customers who received a tablet without battery will have a battery provided to them at no charge. The battery is orderable through the following website:

Once you have surfed to the above website, here are the steps you should follow to reserve a battery:
- Click on the “Buy/Specifications” tab, this will take you to the battery ordering page.
- Click on the “Buy Direct” button.
- You will be prompted to log-in or register with freescale.com (if you have not already established a log-in account on freescale.com).
- Enter your coupon code* and proceed to checkout.
- Coupon is valid through 31-Dec-11.

Conditions:
- Only those customers who have purchased a SABRE tablet are eligible to receive a battery.
- Battery orders will be validated against SABRE tablet shipments to confirm eligibility. Coupons will not be provided through the service request system unless a valid SABRE tablet serial number is provided.
- One battery per development system.
- Coupon is valid through 31-Dec-11.
