Hi, all,
We have started thinking to connect NVP6124B and iMX6 via CSI.
Does anyone have comment regarding our plan?
NVP6124B seems to extend BT.1120 standard and they call it BT.1120 (like).
Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hi guys,
Isnt there anybody to help?
Cheers,
Umit.
Hi Tetsuo Maeda,
Could you manage to connect NVP6124 to Imx6 and capture the video?
In my case pin configuration is like in below and also CLK is connected? Do i need to connect HSYNC and VSYNC to capture BT656 video?
VDO1_7 -> CSI-12
..
..
VDO1_0 -> CSI-19
Also, is there any patch for CSI to take video over NVP, I guess i need to communicate via i2c to initialize it for BT656 right?
Cheers,
Umit.
yes, you can change mx6 software to meet your capture
Hi. Joan-san,
Thank you for the clarification.
NVP6124B does output HD data via 8 bits interface.
So, they call the interface as "BT.1124 like" not as true BT.1124!
I think we need to convert 8 bits data to 16-20 bits data using a PLD so that iMX6 can accept.
Or, we need to develop the software on iMX6 side so that iMX6 can receive the HD data via 8 bits port.
Thanks again for your advice.

Hi, Joan-san,
Thank you for your advice.
I've checked the site that you told me.
We understand that more than 16 bits width interface is necessary to receive BT.1120 form data in iMX6.
Video output interface of NVP6124 is 8 bits data + vclk + HActive, and does not have 16 bits mode.
It seems that NVP6124B and iMX6 can't be connected via BT.1120.
If our understanding is not correct, please let us know.
Thank you for your support.

if 8bits data stream, should be BT656, mx6q supports 8bits BT656 and 16/20 bits BT1120
for bt1120 progress mode, I suggest that you can refer to the document as below:
