This is page 226 of i.MX6 ULL Applications Processor Reference Manual, Rev 1, 11/2017. What does "X" mean? Normally it is don't care in most usages. But 1x and x1 are contradictory it seems. In the settings column of 5-9, it does not say which of the two bits is being set.

Hello,
OP means Override Protection.
OP still enable to burn fuses but prevent manipulation at run time (using OCOTP).
Once the device is in production, the fuses have to be burned. Then OP+WP should
lock them.
WP only, would still enable a run time fuse manipulation.
Regards,
Yuri.
I assume OP means open, and WP means write protect, so what does a fuse setting of 11 mean? That is why this does not make any sense to me. I assume 00 means open or not write protected.
So what does it mean if both fuses are set? Can it be open and write protected at the same time?

Hello,
in the Lock Fusemap, for BOOT_CFG_LOCK, bit 3 is responsible for the OP,
bit 2 is responsible for the WP.
