BC3770 works for SCM-i.MX 6Quad chip

Dear NXP support!

I am wondering if a BC3770 will provide enough current for SCM-i.MX6Quad Single Chip Module. From the reference design of the module(SPF-28927.pdf page 2) it says the total SCM current requirements is 2045 mA. But on the datasheet of BC3770(MC32BC3770.pdf page 1) says "Up to 2.0 A load current for system or battery". They are close.

I really want to use these 2 parts together. Could you please confirm me that if I can use them together?

Hi JIANXIN

datasheet provides max. currents based on special tests which usually are

not used in typical customer applications. So one can consider that pmic as suitable

for this scm module.
