Availability of Unused Camera Parallel interface lines as GPIO's

Hi,

I would like to know whether the unused lines in 20 bit camera parallel interface of IMX6 Quad core processor can be used as normal GPIO lines. In my case i am interfacing a 10 bit monochrome image sensor to D19 to D10 lines of CPI interface.The data will be captured in 16 bit generic mode,my query is whether the unconnected 6 LSB bits when data is acquired in 16 bit generic mode can be used as normal GPIO lines.

Hello,

  yes, it is possible to configure the unused Camera interface pins for GPIO.

When configuring GPIO, Pin tools  may be useful.
