Audio input not working on CPU board after connecting Audio board

We are using imx8qxp board(Android Automotive OS) with base board attached. And we have connected the audio board to base board as well. Audio output is working as expected.

However, audio input on CPU board stops working when we connect the audio board.

Please suggest steps on how to enable audio input on CPU board using headphones/earphones.

If you are using iMX8QXP MEK + base board, the default sound card is CS42888.

Hi,

No, when base board it is connected to i.MX8QXP the input audio is through MIC and line inputs.
