Attaching keyboard and mouse to i.MX6 SABRE Board SD

I am using the SABRE Board for Smart Devices evaluation kit, which is based on the i.MX 6 processor. I have attached a micro USB to standard USB converter cable and a 4 port USB hub to the USB OTG connector of the card. When I just connect the mouse, it works. When I just connect the keyboard, that works, too. But when I connect both of them, neither the mouse nor the keyboard works.

There is nothing special about the mouse or the keyboard, both are generic devices (no fancy multimedia stuff on the keyboard and a standard wheel mouse). What could be the problem? The combined current draw of the keyboard/mouse might be exceeding the USB OTG port capacity, but I find this very  unlikely. I know many people that connect more than two devices (keyboard, mouse, card reader) to smart phones like the Galaxy S4 and it works fine.

Currently, I have Android r13.4 running on this card and I am planning to switch over to Linux soon. Could this be related to Android?

Hello Scrapper, are you using a self powered hub?, or is it drawing it from the board?

Hello, the hub that I am using can be run in both bus powered and self powered mode. I have tried both cases and neither didn't work.

I ended up buying a keyboard with an integrated touch pad to get around this problem.

I see... have you tried with a different hub?, it might be that the board is not recognizing it as a HUB. If you can paste the log to see how it was recognized and also check if the USB-FSL-EHCI module is installed...

And here is the case where only the mouse is attached to the USB hub. In this case, the mouse works. Again, in this log I am seeing the

usb 1-1.3: device v09da p9066 is not supported

Hello, attached is the log for the case where both an un-powered hub, a keyboard and a mouse is attached to the USB OTG port. I have also tried with another non-powered hub (this one was a combo device, a multiple card reader and a 3 port hub) and got the same result (mouse and keyboard work individually, but don't work together).
