Android or other Linux on the UL, where to start?

Hi

We have here an i.MX6UL EVK with Display.

We would like to use any kind of Linuxdistribution on it to run our own application.

In the end, the Board should be able to play audiofiles from an SD-Card with our own GUI.

Can anyone tell us, where we can start?
