Dear NXP,

I know that "hwcomposer_viv.imx6.so" is for hardware compositor (GC320) library in android.

What's the equivalent library that do the same job in Linux (L3.0.35)?

Which API should I use in Linux for compositing layers by GC320:

  1. i.MX_6_2D_API
  2. i.MX_6_G2D_API
  3. i.MX_6_Series_Wayland_Weston_User_Guide
  4. Directfb1.4

according to "L3.0.35_4.1.0_docs"?

Yours,

Thanks for your reply but I found NXP docs contradict as dear Igor said on

https://community.nxp.com/message/855402

I read the

 https://community.nxp.com/external-link.jspa?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nxp.com%2Fwebapp%2FDownload%3FcolC...

document but I can't find a correct way to deal with GC320.

In some docs you'll read that DirectFB is appropriate API and in other docs you faced to wayland also there are two other docs i.MX_6_G2D_API and i.MX_6_2D_API which you can find some function in which they setup the 2D GPU core (GC320).

I'm just confused could you please help me to solve this mystery?
