Hello,

I've been using NXP's Config Tools for i.MX Applications Processors for verification of LPDDR4 on a custom i.MX8M Mini board, which has been handy.  It lets me change a handful of configuration values such as drive strength and LPDDR4 ODT and assess impact to signal integrity.

I would like to try adjusting other parameters that are present in the "i.MX 8M Family DDR Tool" .ds files, but don't seem to be options in the Config Tools for i.MX Applications Processors.  My goal is to reduce EMI, so as an example I would like to adjust the parameters SlewRiseDQ, SlewFallDQ, SlewRiseAC, and SlewFallAC and assess the impact to the DDR eye using the NXP tool.  I would also like to try spread spectrum clocking and confirm the margins are OK.  I have made these changes in the "i.MX 8M Family DDR Tool" and updated U-Boot to confirm basic functionality, but I would like to use the eye capture ability of the Config Tools for i.MX Applications Processors to confirm that my U-Boot modifications still have sufficient margin.

Is it possible for me to make changes to more settings in the Config Tools for i.MX Applications Processors tool outside of the drop-down menus it includes, for example to set SlewRateDQ to a custom value?

I see I can do explicit memory writes using the "Custom Config" option + "memory set" commands in the tool, but it seems like a painful process to make all necessary memory writes, and I'm not sure if/how I can verify my raw register writes are correct and are taking affect on the CPU.  Ideally I could input the .ds file from the i.MX 8M Family DDR Tool into the Config Tools for i.MX Applications Processors and verify the same .ds file works with sufficient margin, then output U-Boot c-files.

Thanks for any input.
