I'm trying to add imx-gpu-viv recipes into my image but I have some error

After some resarch my problem seems to come of the the variable MACHINEOVERRIDES =. "use-${IMX_DEFAULT_BSP}-bsp:" not present in previous imx-base.inc file of meta-freescale

on an old environnement the command 'bitbake -e | grep MACHINEOVERRIDES=" return

MACHINEOVERRIDES="armv7a:imx:mx6:imxipu:imxvpu:imxgpu2d:imxgpu3d:mx6q:imx6q-apm4"

on Dunfell I've get

MACHINEOVERRIDES="armv7a:use-mainline-bsp:imx6q-apm4"

Hox to fix the problem ?

Thanks

Regards

yes.  Supported versions for each nxp bsp can be found in sect.2.1 New features Release Notes

document available on

https://www.nxp.com/design/software/embedded-software/i-mx-software/embedded-linux-for-i-mx-applicat...

Hi Igor

When you write "NXP does not have Dunfell do you mean that NXP does not support Dunfell LTS linux distribution ?

Otherwise, to fix previous problem, i set IMX_DEFAULT_BSP to "nxp" but I meet some problem with REFERRED_PROVIDER_virtual/libgl defenition as below

ERROR: Nothing PROVIDES 'virtual/libgl' (but /home/dev/MaMachine/tmp_yocto/sources/poky/meta/recipes-graphics/libsdl2/libsdl2_2.0.12.bb DEPENDS on or otherwise requires it)
mesa-gl PROVIDES virtual/libgl but was skipped: PREFERRED_PROVIDER_virtual/libgl set to imx-gpu-viv, not mesa-gl

I've post this message on NXP because I've set IMX_DEFAULT_BSP to "nxp"

Regards

Serge

Hi Serge

nxp does not have dunfell. One can try with nxp linux releases described on

https://www.nxp.com/design/software/embedded-software/i-mx-software/embedded-linux-for-i-mx-applicat...

For dunfell issues may be recommended to post issue on meta-fsl-arm mailing list:
https://lists.yoctoproject.org/g/meta-freescale
