Hello,

I am using i.MX8QXP MEK board, I am using the factory build, Everything is working fine.

I am able to access the debug port of UART from TTYUSB0, But the Prompt I am getting on HDMI display shows as below on HDMI Screen:
"NXP i.MX RElease Distro 5.4-zeus imx8qxpmek tty1" and Login Prompt as: "imx8qxpmek Login:"

I have connected LVDS to HDMI converter using Minisas to LVDS0 port.

I want to write a simple application through which I can display a few "images" on the HDMI Display, What is the approach I can use for this application?

I wanted to access the login prompt displayed on HDMI display, How can I access this login prompt?

Thanks & Regards,

Hello,

I am working on i.MX8QXP MEK board. I am using Linux Yocto imx_5.4.24_2.1.0 version
using "imx-image-core" build.

Today, I want to draw some pictures to framebuffer using Open GL.

But failed to open /dev/fb0.

Can you please provide me some pointers to proceed further? I am unable to understand what's wrong.

Thanks & Regards,
Kailas K.

Hi Kailas

from sect.6.2.2 Frame Buffer    i.MX Linux Reference Manual

Frame buffer drivers are supported for i.MX 6 and i.MX 7 but not for i.MX 8.

Best regards
