About the usage of the eMMC device which does not support SPI mode with i.MX6Quad

Dear all,

We use i.MX6Quad.
We want to use eMMC(JEDEC4.51)device.
And we use eMMC Boot.

However, this eMMC does not support SPI mode.
Can we use this eMMC device?

For the method that eMMC(JEDEC4.51) is used in as 4.x,
I referred to the following URL.

However, We do not know whether we can use eMMC which does not support SPI mode.

If we can use this, can MFG tool write a program in this eMMC?

   Basically the SPI mode is not needed for eMMC operation with i.MX6.
