Hello.

I want to check about i.MX6Q.

There is the following description in the data sheet.

(Document Number: IMX6DQCEC Rev 2.3)

無題.png

"On-chip LDOs are designed to supply the i.MX 6Dual/6Quad loads and must not be used to supply external loads."

For example , can I use the VDD_HIGH_CAP to NVCC_ENET?

Regards,

-okamoto

Generally it is possible to use the VDD_HIGH_CAP to feed some i.MX6 supply voltages, as stated in the Datasheet and
shown on Figure 4-1 (i.MX6x/PF0100 connection diagram, 1 of 2) of the Hardware Guide. But the VDD_HIGH_CAP must not

be overloaded (350 mA) : "Be sure to account for the current needs of the [power] domains and the current capability of the

regulator when making this decision."

Hi, okamoto

AFAIK, the VDDHIGH_CAP is 2.5V, but NVCC_ENET needs 3V3, so you can NOT use VDDHIGH_CAP to drive NVCC_ENET.
