Hello there,

I am trying to include imx layer into our yocto build but unfortunately, the environment is a bit different. The gstreamer1.0_1.8.1.bb file (or more)   in meta-fsl-bsp-release  is hard-coded as FILESEXTRAPATHS_prepend := "${BSPDIR}/sources/poky/meta/recipes-multimedia/gstreamer/files:". But most of the project I have seen they most likely use the path like "~/${DIR}/poky/meta".

Is it possible to change that upstream?

Thanks,

Jason

Hello Jason Liu,

The meta-fsl-bsp-release layer is part of the BSP Release, so this layer is not part of the Community BSP wich is part of the Yocto Project (Open Source), that’s why this path is different from other layers.

You can see how the layers are stacked on the following document, it’s not very recent but the basis structure remains.

https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-102993

I hope this helps!

Regards,
