About the device which supports MLB in i.MX6

Dear all,

I received the question about MLB from my customer.

In my understanding, only the product of the automotive grade is supporting MLB.

However, in i.MX 6Solo/6DualLite datasheet for Consumer Products, these are described as one of the functions of all devices.

Are these incorrect?

Hello,

Please use part number coding (part differentiator field) to define
what parts support the MLB. Please look at Figure 1 (Part Number
Nomenclature) of the i.MX6 Datasheets. Say, number 7 for i.MX6 D/Q
means :
“Industrial – w/ VPU, GPU, no MLB”.
