Hello!

I use a processor i.MX 6 Solo. I want to run my applications without using external RAM and ROM memory, without operating systems, bare metal.

Questions:
1) does the processor have internal ROM memory for storing user applications?
2) If the application can be loaded into internal permanent memory, please give information on how to do this. Use mfgtool? How do I configure booting from internal memory?
3) i.MX 6 Solo can only be used with external permanent memory?

Thank you very much!
I apologize for the stupid questions.

Hi Azamat G.,

I believe internal ROM is the Read-Only Memory and won't be able to use the same for flashing an application. Below is the screenshot of available boot devices. Please refer to section 8.5 of the attached Reference Manual for further details.
