About security function with HDMI HDCP1.4 in i.MX6DQ.

Hello. My customer got the HDMI HDCP1.4 sample application for L3.0.35.

i.MX6DQ has many encryption algorithms in CAAM (like a DES(64bit), 3DES(128bit), AES(256bit), RC4(128bit)).

What kind of algorithms is use in HDCP1.4 application?

Hello,

  The i.MX6 HDMI has own HDCP Encryption Engine. The CAAM is used to

encrypt / decrypt keys, stored in i.MX6 OTP. Please refer to "Android HDCP2.x
User's Guide" of Android documentation.

What type of algorithm is used in this HDCP Encryption Engine in HDMI block? (Dedicated algorithm for HDCP1.4? AES? DES?)

I think that 56 bit dedicated algorithm for HDCP1.4.
