I have a question about down mix function of AC3 decoder in jb4.2.2_1.1.0.

[Environment Details]

- MCIMX6Q-SDP

- android jb4.2.2_1.1.0

- AC3 codec (fsl_ac3_dec_jb4.2.2_1.0.0-ga.tar.gz)

[Question]

Is "Down mix" feature included in AC3 decoder (fsl_ac3_dec_jb4.2.2_1.0.0-ga.tar.gz)?

If this function included in AC3 decoder, please tell me how to enable the function.

Hi Keita, in android, the downmix was implemented by Google in audio flinger, and it was enabled already.

Yes. I had already known that android have downmix function.

But, the down mix in audio flinger doesn't function successfully.

(Ex, the sound not to need is mixed together.)

So, We'd like to know that downmix function whether or not included in freescale's AC3 decoder?

Hi Keita, AC3 codec has no downmix in it, if the input is multi-channel audio, after decoded, the output is also multi-channel audio PCM data.
