About booting from eMMC5.0 Device for i.MX6.

Dear all,

An eMMC5.0 device is used in our system.

We referred to the following URL, and changed a value of "card->ext_csd.rev ".
https://community.freescale.com/message/435796#435796

After booting from SD, OS is able to access the eMMC5.0 device.
However, when our system boots from eMMC5.0 device, that's failed.

If it was eMMC4.5 device, it succeeded.

Does BootROM of MX6 support eMMC5.0?
Does BootROM check EXT_CSD_REV of eMMC?

BootROM of MX6QD checks EXT_CSD_REV, but it does not support eMMC5.0

and fall back to flow for eMMC4.4. In general, one can try solutions on link below
