Dear Sir or Madam,

[Q1]

Refer to Table 8-2. Boot eFUSE Descriptions in MCIMX6DQRM(Rev.2).

There is below description.

------

BT_FREQ (BOOT_CFG3[2])

0 - ARM - 792 MHz, DDR - 396 MHz, AXI -264 MHz

1 - ARM - 396 MHz, DDR - 352 MHz, AXI -176 MHz

------

Next, refer to Table 5-4. EIM Boot Fusemap in RM(Rev.2).

It was "Boot Frequencies (ARM/DDR) 0 - 792 /528 MHz"

Which description is right?

[Q2]

freescale has 2 type of i.MX6DQ auto product, 1GHz or 852MHz grade

Could you tell me a selectable BOOT frequency combination in BOOT_CFG3[2](BOOT Frequency Selection)?

(ARM / DDR / AXI)

Best Regards,

Keita

1.

This is a misprint in our i.MX6 Reference Manual :

it is mentioned BOOT Frequency as “ARM - 792 MHz, DDR - 396 MHz”,
but it should be  ARM - 792 MHz, DDR - 528 MHz”.

2.
Both BOOT Frequency selection options are acceptable for any of i.MX6 DQ auto

qualified parts (1 GHz and 852 MGz).

Have a great day,
Yuri

Hi Yuri,

Thank you for your prompt reply!

OK. I understood ARM - 792 MHz, DDR - 528 MHz are correct at boot frequency.

Best Regards,

Keita
