Dear all,

May I have advice about USB for mPICe?

Our system uses USB OTG, USB Host and RGMII.
And it's necessary to add mPCIe.

i.MX6Quad has 4 USB port.
However, 2 USB ports(USB Host 2 and USB Host 3) are assigned to RGMII.

I want to use USB OTG in debugging only

So, I want to use USB connector and mPCIe by connecting a HUB to USB Host1.

Does this method have any problem?
Would you teach the contents which I should be careful about?

In addition, if there is any good idea, may I have advice?

Best Regards,
Yuuki

Hi Yuuki

PCI Express Mini Card Electromechanical Specification defines that

PCI Express Mini Card supports two primary system bus interfaces:

PCI Express and USB. Some cards may use USB too.

One can use it as usual USB Host1, there are no restricitons for that.

Best regards

igor
