About Multi display in IMX8QXP

Hi,

While connecting two displays to I.MX8.QXP Board using LVDS to HDMI one is showing Infotainment Screen and other one is showing a demo screen for Instrument cluster. I just want to make some changes to make the demo display to a working one. Could you help me to sort it out?.

Also an anybody tell me about audio configuration in the board also. Because while connecting the earphone to audio jack in the board and using the music player app inbuilt nothing is heard!

To use two displays please refer to chapter 9.4.1 ''Booting with single LVDS-to-HDMI/MIPI-DSI-to-HDMI or dual LVDS-to-HDMI displays'' of Android_Quick_Start_Guide.pdf on page 61.

To configure your audio please refer to chapter 9.3 ''Flashing board images'' on Options for uuu_imx_android_flash tool:

To test the Sound Open Firmware audio output, execute the tool with -d sof

Are there any ways we can modify or customize the demo cluster display in I.MX8 also could you please share the location of the source files of the cluster demo in the android build.

To enable second display, you need go to init.rc, examlpe on MEK board:

# Enable second display

write /sys/class/drm/card0-HDMI-A-2/status on

write /sys/class/drm/card1-HDMI-A-2/status on
