About Hot Plug function of PCIe for i.MX8

As far as I know PCIe hotplug function is supported after linux kernel 4.X.

but i.MX6 isn't support cause chipset limitation
Does i.MX8 support PCIe hotplug in hw?

Is PCIe hotplug still unsupported with the i.MX8 qxpmek rev D boards? I'm assuming this is the case, but looking to confirm.
