About HDMI brightness between android 8.1 and android 9

We are facing a problem for the Android 8.1 of display brightness.

We use the same hardware and install the Android 8.1 and Android 9.

The Android 9 shows in the left screen while the Android 8.1 shows in the left one.

The brightness is very different between the two OS version.

We are just wondering how we can adjust the display brightness for Android 8.1 since it's really dark compare to Android 9 base on the same hardware.#

Can you please try with the below adb command and see if that solves the problem.

adb shell settings put system screen_brightness 255
