Dear all,
We refer to the following Erratasheet for i.MX6D/Q.
http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/errata/IMX6DQCE.pdf
We found the following description
"Linux BSP Status:
Software workaround implemented in BSP version ER3"
"Linux BSP Status:
Software workaround to be applied in a future BSP release"
We have some LinuxBSP.
- fsl-yocto-3.10.17_1.0.0.tar
- fsl-yocto-3.10.53-1.1.0.tar.gz
- L3.0.35_4.1.0_130816_source.tar.gz
- L3.0.101_4.1.1_141016_source.tar.gz
<Q1>
Which BSP does "BSP version ER3" mean?
<Q2>
Is the "future BSP release" included in above BSP?
Best Regards,
Yuuki
as I known, kernel L3.0.35 is ER6, ER3 maybe L3.0.15 or older version.
this is the latest errata document, if this issue hasn't fixed, I think the bsp you download hasn't fixed this issue yet.
Dear Guanqiong Xie-san,
Thank you for your support.
For ERR007006, ERR007007, ERR007008
"Software workaround to be applied in a future BSP release" is listed in Linux BSP Status of these errata.
We have an additional question.
(1)
I think that it is necessary for these Errata to be supported on the compiler side.
Is there the planned compiler (tool) on supporting these?
(2)
Can we take measures by revising BSP without a correction on the compiler side?
May I have advice?
Best Regards,
Yuuki
