8Gbit DDR3 on i.MX6 Quad

We are planning to start a project that using i.MX 6Quad.

Due to the size limitation, our PCB may only have space for 2 DRAM chips.

We want to maximize the memory so we expect to put 2pcs Micron 8Gbit (512Mx16) DDR3 DRAMs (32bit, 2GB memory).

Does i.MX 6Quad supports this configuration?

The spec of i.MX 6Quad does say it supports up to 4GB but we are not sure if it supports it in 512Mx1x32.
