Hi Folks,
We are planning a new custom hardware design based upon i.mx NXP series.
Our requirements are 4k@60fps encoding support for h.264.
While going through the documents of 5.10 BSP release note here, I found that 4k@60 fps is not supported by any of the imx8 or imx6 families.
I tried external codecs having these capabilities as per below,
https://www.socionext.com/en/products/assp/h264h265/SC2M50/
and
https://www.socionext.com/en/products/assp/h264h265/MB86M31
They are being interfaced on PCIe 2 gen 4 lanes wherein imx8 I found 2xPCIe with only 1 lane.
Now in this case can you guide achieving 4k@60 fps encoding capability with i.mx?
Or point to any Guide?
Any help will be appreciable.

Hi @joanxie ,
Thank you for the response,
As mentioned in the query itself, I have been through the release note and 5.10 docs and found it is not supported.
But what about above mentioned external PCIe-based solutions?
Also, what are the other ways to connect external 4k encoders?
Appreciate your response.
