We have a customer interested in running the iMX8M in 32 bit mode. They have legacy applications they want to run without recompilation. Is there any support for building CodeAurora SPL, U-Boot, and ATF in ARM32 mode for the iMX8M?

Where you able to get A53 working in 32bit mode?
We have a similar interest, we wanted A53 to run in 32 bit more and running baremetal code. Not Linux.

We do have an application note that specifies how to migrate the software from Aarch32 to Aarch64. Please see it below.

Another alternative is to enable multilib in 64-bit OS. Please see the Yocto User's Guide (attached) 5.6.9 chapter for this.
