  • In single camera mode, it states that CSI1 can run at 400 MHz and CSI2 is limited to 277MHz.  In dual-camera mode, both operate at 266MHz.

I was curious to know if the clock limitations were due to heat or current limit or something else?

  • Are these limitations due to the ISP or the CSI?
  • If we run one camera at 4kp30, do you have any idea what the capture limit is on the second camera?
  • Since there are two capture engines, Image Sense Interface (ISI) and Image Signal Processor (ISP) can we have one CSI connect through the ISP and one CSI run through the ISI?  If so, are there any clock limitations?

You stated that the capture limitations for the second camera would be limited by the DDR size.

That Application note was for the ISI.  I know we need the ISP for at least one of the cameras which needs to capture 4k @ 30fps.  Can you point me to the proper ISP-related document which would explain what the limitations of the second camera would be?
