Hi,

Sometimes I am receiving u64JPT_MacAddress value as 0.

I am using JN-AN-1172-JN516x-Customer-Module-Evaluation-Tool

u64JPT_MacAddress is giving factory mac address of JN516x chip ? Is it right ?

Anyone know the reason ?

Please give the answer as soon as possible.

Hi Vihang,

The mac address value that you have is 0. You need to set MAC Adress.

Please follow the next User Guide JN51xx Production Flash Programmer User Guide

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/JN-UG-3099.pdf?fsrch=1&sr=1&pageNum=1

3.6 Display the Device Configuration

$ JN51xxProgrammer.exe -s COMxx --deviceconfig -V 0

3.5 Set MAC Address of JN51xx Device,

Once the operation has been confirmed, the one-time programmable MAC address is written.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Mario

Hi Mario,

Is u64JPT_MacAddress  giving factory mac address(default mac address) of JN516x chip ?

Suppose,I buy new JN516x chip then I run JN-AN-1172-JN516x-Customer-Module-Evaluation-Tool related binary in chip.

This binary working as testing for radio test functionality as per JN-AN-1172 documents.

In between,I want chip factory mac address(default mac address).
As per JN-AN-1172, u64JPT_MacAddress variable has provide the chip mac address.

Right now,I am not getting factory mac address by u64JPT_MacAddress .

Hi Vihang,

The device has the mac value with 0xFF.

So, you have to flash the MAC address, but Once the operation has been confirmed, the one-time programmable MAC address is written.

Regards,

Mario
