about external flash memory supported by 88MW320

Hi,

I would like advice about external flash for 88MW320.

(Q1) 88MW320 can support up to 16MB of external flash.
Is my understanding correct?

(Q2) 88MW320 can only support flash listed in "fl_dev_list []".
Is my understanding correct?
(I refer to "1.2.3.1 Hardware Abstraction Layer for QSPI Controller" in "Marvell_AN_MW30x_FlashDevices_v1p0.pdf".)

Could you advise me?

(Q1) 88MW320 can support up to 16MB of an external flash.

You are right about this also be sure that the memory flash has the parameters that we describe in the 2.1 Hardware Features.

(Q2) 88MW320 can only support flash listed in "fl_dev_list []".
Is my understanding correct?

You could add a memory that is not listed in the array. Please look at the 2.2.3 Selecting Device Belonging To Unsupported Device Family
