I'm using a NXP PN7160 NFC reader in a door lock to read RFID tags. With our current antenna size and tuning we aren't reaching the desired reading distance. Therefore, I have tried to increase the TX power by changing the value of NXP_TVDD_CONF in Nfc_settings.h from 1 to 2. If I'm not mistaken this will change TXLDO to 4.75 from 3.3 V?
However, I can't detect a significant change in either reading distance or power consumption. Am I missing something? Or what should I do to achieve a longer reading distance without changing the tuning or size of the antenna?
