Hello NXP Team,

I have opened this new Ticket just to follow up on this following thread.

https://community.nxp.com/t5/Wireless-Connectivity/88W0998-Latest-Stable-Driver-Firmware-for-x86-64-...

I am trying to  download following Linux driver suggested by NXP Team. For that I was waiting for NDA and now I have submitted  Request secure access rights  with all required details.

PCIE-WLAN-UART-BT-9098-U16-X86-17.68.1.p136.54-17.26.1.p136.54-MXM5X17366_P30_V0V1-GPL

But still getting this error.

kbpanchal005_0-1707937031602.png

How long will it take to process request and approval ? please do needful as soon as possible.

And also let me know If there is newer version of same driver available.

Thanks,

Kalpesh

Dear @kbpanchal005

If I am correct you are currently using PCIE-WLAN-UART-BT-9098-U16-X86-17.68.1.p81-17.26.1.p81-MXM5X17277_V0V1-MGPL.zip software.

These FP68 (17.68.1) software releases are restricted access releases, so requiring NDA and access permission procedures, which can take long.

We now promote generic FP92 software releases, which includes most of the FP68 releases features, and are available to all customers without restriction.

These generic software releases are available on NXP github:

- NXP Wifi/BT driver:
git clone http://github.com/nxp-imx/mwifiex.git
git checkout lf-6.1.55-2.2.0

The driver code supports Linux kernel from 2.6.32 to 6.5.4.

- NXP Wifi/BT firmware:
git clone https://github.com/NXP/imx-firmware
git checkout lf-6.1.55-2.2.0

Corresponding release note is available here: https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/release-note/RN00104.pdf

Do you really want to keep your request for latest FP68 software, or don't you want to use generic FP92 software ?

Regards,

Olivier
